I am NEVER faking being ill... only Faking being well!

Since I began needing to use mobility aids back in 2010… this has been one of THE most challenging things for people to understand! Those of us with conditions like neuromuscular disease, multiple sclerosis, EDS, and ME/CFS can often have a great variation in our bodies mobility abilities. Depending on how much sleep I got the night before, how well I slept, what type of emotional stress is going on in my daily life, and Especially if I am fighting any type of infection all determines if I will be able to walk that day unsupported… or use a walker, crutches, or need my power wheelchair. I, just like thousands who have similar conditions, am always doing my best everyday to move my body in the way it can at that moment… and NEVER are any of us faking a second of this sh@t for attention or sympathy… we generally are always doing quite the opposite, faking being okay so as to not overwhelm those in our lives with our burden.
